How did you decide to go into business for yourself?

By 1978 finding used parts for the first imported Porsches was getting difficult. I felt there was a real need/opportunity to serve this market with a marque specific new/used parts business. My employers appreciated the concept but weren't in a position to take the risk. So I did.
